So you want to snowshoe or go cross country skiing and don’t know where to go?
Don’t worry about that. Depending on your ability and snow conditions we will send you on your way with your rental equipment in hand, and a map showing you a few different places to go. Cross country skiing and snow shoeing is a beautiful way to enjoy the peace and quite that happens during the winter. It’s a great way to get away and see what Tahoe is really all about. Tahoe’s pristine beauty comes alive when you are out there in her elements; the snow, the pine trees, the big boulders, her creeks and rivers sparkling through the snow showing off their icy brown grass, snow covered banks.
We suggest taking your lunch, a bottle of wine or hot chocolate and a blanket and find one of those large boulders, sit down and enjoy yourselves. There is much to do about doing nothing out there in the wilderness. After skiing, snow shoeing and taking in your lunch on a beautiful afternoon (snowing or not) then head to Markleville and enjoy a hot pool at Grover Hot Spings. Sorry, swim suits mandatory. 🙁
